Wicked Defense 2 is a sequel to the popular Wicked Defense game published earlier. It continues the saga of a real-time strategy game in 3D where you are to construct towers on the battlefield and cast instant magic spells to prevent the large hordes of incoming monsters spawning at some fixed location on the map from reaching their one or several destinations.

In the game each tower you can build has its own special characteristics such as type of the weapon, effective range and the overall functionality among others. Many tower characteristics can be upgraded by using three unique paths, making each tower completely customizable. The spells can be cast on a specific map square and include massive destruction spells like fire, lightning and meteor storms in addition to special spells that slow down monsters, speed up other towers and even spawn independent friendly units on the map. The correct placement of the towers, their upgrades and careful usage of magic spells makes the difference between winning and losing the game.

There are many different unique monsters in the game. Each monster can be identified by its type and class. Different monster types have different special abilities such as healing, cloning, subdivision and so on. The monster class determines how powerful the monster is - smaller monsters tend to have weaker abilities while stronger monsters besides their strong special ability can give that ability to other neighbor weaker monsters. The player needs to adjust the defensive strategy depending on what monsters are on the battlefield.

The game features 9 unique tower designs (each with three upgrade categories), 7 different targeting strategies, 10 unique spells and 11 unique monsters (each coming in 4 different classes). The included Scenario and Script Editor allows you to create very unique maps, mods and even completely different game types. The game runs scripts in real-time and allows to change the many aspects of the game. Last but not least, the game features dazzling 3D visual effects, MP3 and OGG music playback capability and 3D sound effects.
