Demon Master Chris is an adult fantasy dungeon-crawler / visual novel game. You control the (female) eponymous main character Chris. When attempting to summon the mighty demon Leviathan something goes wrong. Instead of summoning the demon into your dimension Leviathan reverses the spell and summons you into the demon realm instead. During your escape you are saved by the demon Anna, who wants to have you as her minion.

Your ultimate goal is to get back into your own dimension, so you will have to get stronger to be able to find and defeat Leviathan. To do so you need to travel through dungeons and fight other (female) demons. Both you and your enemies have AP (Agility Points) and VP (Vitality Points): VP represent health, while AP indicate constitution. A certain amount of AP is required for each action (e.g. attacking, blocking or performing magic), but lower AP also increases the probability of critical hits of the opponent. A critical hit will destroy part of your clothing and when hit twice you are naked. The main disadvantage of this condition is that you won't heal automatically any more, so sooner or later you have to return to Anna's house for an automatic repair or you may buy one of those expensive repair elixirs instead. This also applies to demons: when stripped, a (lower level) demon can be captured and used as your own minion, forming a party of up to three active and three backup characters.

The game uses a visual novel interface. However, the dungeons may also be explored using the arrow keys of the keyboard. Typical for a role-playing game your characters level up and have different stats and abilities. Additionally your own stats may be modified by buying alternate clothes. Entering a new dungeon is usually followed by a rape scene. The game contains a gallery where all the cut-scenes can be watched again, and it is also possible to unlock an Extras section.
