Cobain: Montage of Heck is an American documentary from 2015 about the founder and lead singer of the American rock band Nirvana, Kurt Cobain. Director Brett morning. The film was first shown in 2015 at the Sundance Film Festival. The documentary covers Kurt Cobain's life, from his birth in Aberdeen in 1967 through difficult teenage years to his glorious rise as Nirvana's front man and his death in April 1994 in Seattle at the age of 27.

Among other things, the film features drawings and pictures by Cobain, accompanied by music and sound collages composed by him. This material was also released as a soundtrack Montage of Heck: The Home Recordings and Book.
