Alchemy: Dire Straits Live is the first live album of the British rock band Dire Straits, which was released in March 1984.
After all the concert recordings of the great Love-over-Gold world tour turned out to be unusable for an album, the Hammersmith Odeon was hired in London for two concerts. This resulted in the album Alchemy, the band's first live album. Due to its length, it was released on two LPs. The album cover is marked by two arrows, one on top of the other, then away from each other. This was also the logo of the concert.

The first LP begins with a short intro, followed by Once Upon a Time in the West, which is dominated by guitar solos by Mark Knopflers. The live version of Sultans of Swing, one of Dire Straits' best-known songs, is at the heart of the album alongside Telegraph Road, an epic song about fifteen minutes long. With Going Home, a piece of series the score track Knopflers, the concert and thus the album is closed with quiet guitar tones.

In May 2010 a revised recording was released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc.
