Taste - What's Going on Live at the Isle of Wight 1970 (2015) BD50

Founded in 1966 by Rory Gallagher in Cork, Ireland, Taste developed into a very influential band within a very short time. The group released two studio albums in 1969 and 1970 and split shortly after their legendary appearance at the 1970s Isle Of Wight Festival, which is at the center of this film. The main focus of "What's Going On" is on the festival show of 28 August and is framed by documentation on the history of Taste and its importance. There are contributions by Rory Gallagher's brother Donal, Brian May (Queen), The Edge (U2), Bob Geldof and the well-known guitarist Larry Coryell. After the end of the key, Rory Gallagher started a successful solokarriere. This electrifying key show is an early example of its brilliant reputation as the ultimate stage musician. The original 16mm film has been carefully restored, the soundtracks have been remixed. The bonus material includes three songs from the German TV series'Beat Club`: "I'll Remember", "It's Happened Before", "It's Happen Again" and "Morning Sun" , "What's Going On" and "Born On The Wrong Side Of Time".
