Sweden's most successful pop act since Abba presented to Roxette - All Videos Ever Made & More a collection of his best clips: A total of 35 pieces from the years 1987 to 2001 together with rarities, such as the very first clip whose director is no longer known, yields then the stately 40 visual Singles on this DVD. The whole thing is a journey through the history of Roxette, but also an interesting style customer in terms of video production and equipment of the mid-80s until the beginning of the new millennium.
It all starts with pretty frills clips, such as "Soul Deep", which no longer represents as a filmed Club appearance. In "I Call Your Name" already video effects and the classic mix of studio and live recordings are added. The breakthrough for Roxette, "The Look" is a wonderfully nostalgic piece, talk emanating from the 80s: pop colors and neon everywhere. The video-Marathon goes with "Dressed For Success" on, follow it "Joyroide", "It Must Have Been Love" (in the Pretty Woman version), "Sleeping In My Car" and "Crash! Boom! Bang! ", to name only the best known. In between and after that there's so interesting how "Almost Unreal" in the video version of the film Super Mario Brothers or even "You Do not Understand Me", which is influenced by Ingmar Bergman's The Seventh Seal.
Very surreal comes "Stars" therefore, and "Real Sugar" is a tribute to the band from the Muppet Show. Furthermore, there are two long documentaries: "The Making of Joyride" is about a 50-minute impressions of the promotional tour in 1991, where they also learn a lot in interviews about the band's history. "Really Roxette" is an equally long documentary about Roxette, which was recorded at the time of the crash! -Boom! -Bang! Tour in 1995.
All in all, lined the catchy pop rock tunes of Roxette with equally catchy beautiful images. Roxette - All Videos Ever Made & More provides for the fan is a complete collection of video clips that would be desirable for other bands in this form.
