The November 22, 1981, in the midst of his gigantic American tour, the Rolling Stones came to Chicago before playing 3 nights at the Rosemont Horizon. Heavily influenced by the Chicago blues, the band paid a visit to club Muddy Waters Checkerboard Lounge to see the legendary bluesman act. It was not long before Mick Jagger, Keith Richards, Ronnie Wood and Ian Stewart will join on stage and then Buddy Guy and Lefty Dizz also played their part. It was a unique occasion that fortunately was captured on camera. Now, I restored from the original images and the sound mixed and mastered by Bob Clearmountain, it is doing this incredible night of blues available in an official release for the first time.
