Any promoter interested ...their case, less would be more. Dogs N Bones could easily reduce their songs to three minutes and still be viable. This length only works on a few songs including 'Easy To Say Goodbye' and 'God Bless."

Except for some novel numbers, 'Lost Gone Wild,' is incredibly ordinary. They only fortunate songs are 'God Bless' and 'Easy To Say Goodbye.' Yes, I mentioned them before and they are pretty good. What Dogs N Bones is good at is finishing well. Though average songs, 'Forever Wild' and 'Ain't A Bad Day To Live' have brilliant endings thanks to astonishing fret work from Dr. Rock. Actually, the best part of 'Lost Gone Wild' and Dogs N Bones is Dr. Rock's guitar solos and also Oldboy's drumming especially on 'Someday' and 'Out Is War.' Overall, despite these highlights, 'Lost Gone Wild' is a mediocre album.ve Peters von den Metalcorern THROWDOWN auf "Unleash".

Härte ist also hinzugekommen, die Weltmusik-Einflüsse sind zurückgegangen - doch was ist mit der Qualität des Materials? Um es kurz zu machen: "Conquer" mag zwar das härteste Album der Bandgeschichte sein - aber das beste ist es nicht. Natürlich gibt es hier grandiose Songs zu hören, das eröffnende "Blood Fire War Hate" wartet zum Beispiel mit einer genialen Hookline auf, ebenso "Enemy Ghost", das ursprünglich als Titelsong gedachte "Warmageddon" beginnt schleppend, bevor es zu einer coolen Midtemponummer wird, die auch in schnelleren Gefilden wildert. Abwechslung ist also durchaus gegeben, und auch der Sound ist gut gelungen. Was also verhindert, dass ich beim Hören der neuen Platte Luftsprünge mache? Ganz einfach: Die Songs sind insgesamt gesehen einfach nicht so riesig, wie sie auf "Primitive", "Prophecy" oder teilweise auch noch auf "The Dark Ages" waren. Klar, die Weltmusik-Parts sind nicht ganz verschwunden, trotzdem wünsche ich mir hier und da wieder mehr davon. Meinetwegen soll es dafür auch in Sachen Härte wieder etwas geregelter gehen. Denn: Außer "Blood Fire War Hate", "Warmageddon" und "Enemy Ghost" traue ich keinem der Songs zu, zu Live-Klassikern zu werden.

So ist "Conquer" sicherlich ein Metalbrett vor dem Herrn, das durchaus seine Berechtigung hat. Trotzdem kommt es für mich nicht ganz an Alben wie die genannten "Primitive" oder "Prophecy" heran. Zum Headbangen aber sicherlich gut geeignet! Nadia Lanfranconi and the singer of the metal band Morgana, Marco Mesemi. The sound is now more rich and open minded, with the technique of metal and the feeling of rock.
