| Size : 112.41 megs | Manowar Scheiben sind. Schon die beiden ersten Nummern "Blood of knives" und "I got the right" machen Ross The Boss alle Ehre. Mehr Manowar geht nicht! Aber die Herren können auch anders. Das fast schon sauschnelle "Death & glory" ist ein purer Metal Exzess! Nur geil! Das sehr hymnische "Plague of lies" werden alle gut finden die auf Hammerfall und Co. stehen. Schon der Titel klingt nach 120 Prozent Manowar: "We will kill". Das ist aber auch schon die einzige Ähnlichkeit zu Großkotz DeMaio und Co., denn der Track ist ein lupenreines Stück gediegenen Power Metals. "New metal leader" ist ein klasse Album für Fans der frühen Manowar und Anhängern der True Metal Fraktion. Beachtlich.Kravljaca. Two days after Micke's phone call, Andi showed up and blew everyone away with his smooth high register and vocal gymnastics. Silent Call had finally found their man. After the completion of the lineup, things happened very quickly for Silent Call.

The band's debut 4-track demo "Divided," recorded during the winter of 2006/2007 in Södertälje, Sweden, was released in January of 2007, and showcased the band's new direction and lineup. "Divided" was well received by press and public alike, and planted Silent Call firmly on the canvas of Stockholm's live scene. The demo also attracted the attention of several European record houses, and after a tentative period of negotiation, Silent Call finally signed a recording deal with British label Escape
Music, in April of 2007.

Silent Call's debut album, entitled "Creations From A Chosen Path", was recorded in Stockholm and features 13 tracks of powerful melodic metal, with some spectacular guest appearances by the likes of Göran Edman (Yngwie Malmsteen, Brazen Abbot, Vindictiv) on vocals and Daniel Flores (Mind's Eye) on drums. The album was mixed and mastered by Martin Kronlund at JM Studios (Hammerfall, Alliance, Heartland, Gypsy Rose), which is a fitting final touch to Silent Call's thick wall of classic sound. If you have a penchant for melodic and progressive metal then this is just up your alley.

Silent Call is: Patrik Ulfström / Daniel Ekholm / Mikael Kvist / Andi Kravljaca / Tobbe Moen mit Gedanken und Emotion verbinden. Dafür braucht es etwas Geduld und ein wenig Veranlagung. Und vielleicht ist die Tatsache, dass dieses Album zwiespältig aufgenommen werden wird, das größte Kompliment, das man den Musikern machen kann. Kein "ganz nett", kein "08/15", sondern Reife, Kompromisslosigkeit, Mut zur Veränderung und eine eigene Identität. Und Selbstbewusstsein schafft immer Freunde und Feinde.

Für mich haben FEAR MY THOUGHTS mit "Isolation" ein ganz klares Highlight abgeliefert, das sich sicher bis zum Ende des Jahres dort halten kann. Für andere wird das Gebräu uninteressant und ein bisschen zu gewagt sein. Ich weiß nur eines: "Isolation" ist Kunst. Vollendete künstlerische Freiheit. Und wenn ihr mich fragt, geht da noch viel mehr in Zukunft.

Hört euch die Songs an, bildet euch euer Urteil und stellt euch auf eine der beiden Seiten. Mir sei jedoch diese ironische Bemerkung noch erlaubt: Scheuklappen und Taubheit müssen nicht zwangsweise gemeinsam
