New G-Unit album that comes out July 1st.

It's the clean, but it's still 2 weeks early.ted in 2005 when 5 close friends decided to join forces to create the ultimate rock metal band:

These buddies were used to sharing the stage with their respective bands and as they got closer throughout the years, they started working on more and more projects together and eventually they came up with the idea of creating a band in the rock metal genre, in which they would include all their influences to bring out a unique style boasting the most powerful and melodic hard-hitting rock anthems of today.
They got together for two weeks in studio to party and to work on some tunes just to see how things could develop. In the end, the alchemy was so perfect that 11 tracks were composed. With their venture taking serious shape, the musicians decided to go to Sweden to record the drums with Daniel Bergstrand (Meshuggah, In Flames, …) at the Dug Out Studio. Everything else was recorded later on at Lyzanxia’s Dome Studio/Guillaume Bideau's Dogs in the house studio and produced by Guillaume Bideau and David Potvin.
The album was finalized in October 2007 when the band went to Denmark to get the tracks mixed and mastered by Tue Madsen (Sick Of It All, Dark Tranquility, Mnemic, …) at the Antfarm Studio. One-Way Mirror now had its full identity and 11 killer tunes under its belt.
The next logical step was to get plastic arts master Alain Trehard to design the album cover and the booklet.st love it.ieren. Wer die Tracks von der Vinyl Version bereits kennt, wird sich fragen, wo hier etwas neu abgemischt wurde. Meiner Meinung nach klingt es 1:1 wie auf der besagten Vinyl Version. Für alle anderen gibt es hier zwei durchaus akzeptable SATYRICON Songs.

Bleiben als Letztes nur noch die beiden Live Klassiker in Orchester Version. Wobei man das Orchester in Klammern setzen sollte. Bei „Repined Bastard Nation“ ist es bis auf die Trompeten, die es immerhin auf gefühlte knappe 30 Sekunden Einsatz bringen, so gut wie überhaupt nicht auszumachen, da entweder Frost zu dominant trommelt oder das Publikum zu laut jubelt.
„Mother North“ kommt hier schon deutlich besser weg. Die Fangesänge zu Beginn werden durch die Bläser sehr schön unterstützt und erhalten nahezu etwas majestätisches, ebenso wie die gesangsfreien Passagen des Songs. Ob es an „Mother North“ in der Live Version, oder wirklich am Orchester liegt, mag ich nicht genau sagen, aber hier bekommt man fast 9 Minuten lang ein wirklich geniales Musikstück geliefert.wir das mal so stehen und ziehen die Mundwinkel bei den abschließenden drei Klopfern wieder nach ganz oben. Speziell She's Got Class geht einem mit seinem vertrackten Rhythmus und der bravourösen Schlagzeugarbeit nicht mehr aus dem Kopf. Diese Nummer hätten LED ZEPPELIN wohl gerne für ihren reichlich faden Schwanengesang "In Through The Out Door" geschrieben.

Man könnte das halbe Classic Rock Lexikon bemühen, JADED SUN haben ihre Lektionen daraus gelernt und sind dennoch neu. Aufgemerkt: N-E-U!
Dem nächsten Popliteraten, der die Parole "Rock ist tot" herausgibt, darf man die Ohren abschneiden, er braucht sie eh nicht mehr. Wer solche Bands überhört, hat nichts verstanden, denn auch wenn diese Art von Musik in der öffentlichen Wahrnehmung keine große Rolle mehr spielt, nehmt mal eure minderjährigen Neffen oder Nichten oder die eigenen Kinder zum nächsten Konzert von JADED SUN mit.
