As with any good concept album the songs help progress the mood and the story. This album does that very well. The different characters are easily distinguished and fit in the story very well. My favorite stand alone track is Elf's Blood. This is the most diverse and longest track on the album. But this is an album you need to listen to start to finish and let yourself get caught up in the story or Elves and Dragons. It would be hard to go into a song by song breakdown since the compositions are very complex and each song has so much to offer. I will say that every song sounds different and this is not an album you will ever get bored of listening to.

Yes this is "cheesy" power metal. But, Epidemia would be on the heavier side of most power metal bands and the guitar work is fantastic. Any fans of Blind Guardian or Avantasia should definitely check this out. die meisten haben bereits
