Started in 1991 in Suffolk, England orignally playing Black Metal and over the years changing to what can be easily described as Extreme Metal, using aspects of Gothic metal, Symphonic metal, and Black metal. One of few metal bands to break out and have a large public following. Without question one of the biggest and most influencial metal bands on the scene today. Have toured on big tours like Ozzfest, and received commercial success unlike a great deal of bands that can be considered "Metal."
This is their 9th full length studio album.
