The three founding members (Gajdek, Dziadek, Rambo) used to play in a famous underground thrash band Rapid Fire (Pol). They quit and formed Witchking (back then named 'Steel Crown') after a gig with two rising behemoths of the Polish metal scene - Mayhayron and Sorcerer (Pol). That inspired the future Witchking members to play epic heavy metal with no compromise. In October 2004 they managed to recruit a vocalist who could make it in the studio, and thus their debut demo was born.
