HinweiseGenre : Progressive Rock
Country : Sweden
Year : 2008
On"III" their music takes a somewhat new and more unique direction. We hear a more experimental band which - in their own very melodic way - incorporates influences from a wider range of genres. That doesn't mean that they have changed identity, one easily recognizes the typical Brother Ape sound, served with the same warm, light atmosphere making them quite special on today's prog scene. Accessible progressive rock that, at first listening, often appears to be more "easily enjoyed" than it actually is. We are many who discovered that their music tends to grow on us after a couple of listenings. The music on "III" can be seen as a logical continuation to "Shangri-La", but maybe not the way their fans expect.
