Århus melodic, Dark Metal band MEVADIO was originally formed in Herning as a trio of bassist Michael, guitarist Ivan and drummer Kenneth and named FACING A BORING DAY, abbreviated F.A.B.D., during 1995. A Hardcore / Thrash styled demo was recorded under this formative title but never released. In late 1997 Morten Kruger joined the fold as frontman. A second demo session was undertaken in 1998 and that year FACING A BORING DAY scored its first concert, opening for KONKHRA. A self-titled 1999 demo was cut at Borsing Recording Studio with producer Tue Madsen.
In 2000 the group relocated to Århus and crafted further demos with Tue Madsen at Antfarm Recording studio. At this juncture the new brand of MEVADIO was adopted. Live work witnessed supports to JERKSTORE, MUSTACH and GROPE. In 2002 another round of Madsen produced demos scored a label deal with Mighty Music subsidiary Drug(s), this contract being signed in February 2003. 'Hands Down', laid down with Tue Madsen at Antfarm Recording studio, saw release in September.
MEVADIO recorded the 'Fresh Kill Daily' album, again produced by Tue Madsen, for the Drug(s) label for issue in early 2008.
