Myrskylä's MISERY INC., founded in October 2001 by PROFANE OMEN guitarist Janne Tolonen, comprised vocalist Jukkis Huuhtanen, guitarists Tolonen and BURNING EMPIRE's Teemu Ylämäki, bassist Jukka Keisala and drummer Joonas Kauppinen. First recordings, laid down at Sonic Pump Studios, resulted in the demo 'Chains', followed up by a further promotional session 'For Your Misery Only' then third set 'Suicide Serenade'. Signing to ZYX Records the band debuted with the Aksu Hanttu produced album 'Yesterday's Grave'. A line-up change then saw the departure of singer Jukkis, replaced by dual singers Niko Mankinen, ex-BLACK KAMEL, and Jules Näveri, from PROFANE OMEN and BURNING EMPIRE.
In December 2005 MISERY INC. drafted a new bassist in the form of Aki Heikinheimo from FALSE SYNAPSE. A second album, 'Random End' released in 2006 throuigh Firebox Records, would be promoted by a video for the track 'Fallen Rage' directed by Jani Saajanaho. That same year Tommi Niemi forged side project INTO MY HOUSES, also involving Tomi Tupiini (a.k.a. 'Bargor') of GOATHEMY, ENTROPHIA, IMEIN DARG and BLUE STEEL, handling guitars, bass and drum programming, with vocalists Jussi Virtala, of MORGUE, SCAVENGER and THE LUST I SEEK, plus Teija Ruohoniemi of GOATHEMY. Strangely the quartet assembled INTO MY HOUSES in order to record a 2007 demo entitled 'Some Forsaken Ones' comprising previously unreleased material composed by ENTROPHIA and IKINAE.
