Former UGLY KID JOE personnel singer Whitfield Crane and drummer Shannon Larkin returned in early 2006 fronting ANOTHER ANIMAL, this project a collaboration with Shannon's fellow GODSMACK members guitarist Tony Rombola and bass player Robbie Merrill. The venture was conceived during GODSMACK downtime in 2005. Crane also held associations with LIFE OF AGONY and MEDICATION whilst Larkin's formative years included a tenure with WRATHCHILD AMERICA. Famously, the drummer had also stepped in at short notice in place of Mike Bordin for one date at the close of the 1999 'Ozzfest' touring festival by playing drums for both OZZY OSBOURNE and BLACK SABBATH in the same day. ANOTHER ANIMAL's long delayed debut album was finally given a September 2007 release date. The group partnered with ALTER BRIDGE for US shows in October and November.
