Metal Act.
Initially drawn together through a combination of
adolescent naivety and musical curiosity, 'neath
have evolved from sheer neighbourhood-clearing
clamour, into a modern progressive death-metal
band who are continually aiming towards a sound
and style of our own.
Inspired by groups/arstists such as Tool, Opeth,
Devin Townsend, Alice in Chains, and My Dying
Bride, 'neath are constantly searching for ways to
distinguish our sound within the metal genre,
striving to forge a style in the same vein as the
aforementioned influences, whilst incorporating
our collective obsession with all things good and
brutally heavy.
A solid rehearsal routine since 2003 has seen
'neath formulate our sound in the studio rather
then stage.
The plan is to continue appeasing our own musical
ambitions through a constant exploration of the
metal genre, giving it all we have creatively for
ourselves and those who care to listen.
