PROJECT: FAILING FLESH was the 2002 band assembled in Vienna, Virginia by VOIVID 'Phobos' era frontman Eric Forrest. The singer, prior to having joined the Canadian avant-garde Thrash legends a member of LIQUID INDIAN and THUNDER CIRCUS, had left VOIVOD following severe injuries received on the road in Germany. Kevin '131' has credits with GARDEN OF SHADOWS, TWISTED TOWER DIRE, BRAVE and WHILE HEAVEN WEPT.
The group signed a label deal with the Dutch Karmageddon Media concern for debut album 'A Beautiful Sickness', this opus closing out with a cover of VENOM's 'Warhead'. The band commenced cutting a self-produced second album 'The Conjoined' at Assembly Line Studios in Virginia in early 2004, these sessions lasting well into mid 2005.
PROJECT: FAILING FLESH, having wrapped up recording of 'The Conjoined' album, parted ways with Karmageddon Media in vocally acrimonious circumstances during September 2006. The group signed over to Burning Star Records, based in Greece, the following month. 'The Conjoined' was finally issued in March 2007.
