A Progressive Power Metal band created in 1994 as an instrumental trio of former ICEFIRE and DAYZE keyboard player Maurizio Pariottia, ex-RANDOM speed guitarist Diego Reali and drummer Gianfranco Tassella. The following year DGM added bass player Marco Marchiori and pulled in vocalist Luciano Regoli of SAMADHY and RITRATTO DI DORIAN GRAY for a self financed mini-album 'Random Access Zone'. The full length 'Change Direction' followed in November 1997.
During late 1998 Tassella opted out and DGM drafted Daniele Conte to act as session drummer for the 1999 'Wings Of Time' album. Shortly after recording Fabio Constantino, previously with CARNAL RAPTURE, took the drum role on a more permanent basis.
In April of 2000 Marchiori made his exit, DGM pulling in former RIVER OF CHANGE man Andrea Arcangeli as replacement. DGM then added new vocalist Titta Tani, a veteran of such acts as YTSE JAMMERS, MINDSCAPE, GLORYHUNTER, ABSTRACTA and EMPTY TREMOR, also operating with DAEMONIA and as drummer for notorious US Horror Metal outfit NECROPHAGIA, for the 2002 offering 'Dreamland', generally regarded as the group's best offering to date. Japanese variants of the album included a cover version of YNGWIE MALMSTEEN's 'You Don't Remember (I'll Never Forget)' as an exclusive bonus track.
Keyboard player Maurizio Pariotti joined STORMLORD in mid 2006.
