Jens Carlsson (vocals), Piet Sielck (guitar), Emil Norberg (bass), Thomen Stauch (drums)
Longstanding BLIND GUARDIAN drummer Thomas Stauch opted out of the leading German epic Metal band in April 2005. Soon afterward, the drummer revealed he had teamed up with PERSUADER members vocalist / guitarist Jens Karlsson and lead guitarist Emil Norberg in a new project entitled SAVAGE CIRCUS. The concept had been initiated in May of 2004 when producer and IRON SAVIOR frontman Piet Sielck suggested some demos cut by Stauch were similar in style to the PERSUADER material. Initial demos, with Sielck handling bass guitar, were cut at Powerhouse Studios in Hamburg during August. SAVAGE CIRCUS signed to Sielck's label Dockyard 1 and commenced album recordings in February 2005 at Karo Studios. 'Dreamland Manor' would be scheduled for September.
SAVAGE CIRCUS announced their live debut for April 2006 at Planet Music in Vienna, Austria. In March the band lent support to EDGUY in Japan.
