From the majestic, sweeping Alps and the lush meadows of the Rhine comes the new
leaders of the new wave of German pop music, the enthusiastic and ethereal band
Klee.

Klee is a three-piece featuring the honeysuckle-sweet vocals of the beautiful
Suzie Kerstgens coupled with the subtle-yet-outstanding keyboard work of Sten
Servaes, and the intelligently sharp riffage of ice-cool guitarist Tom
Deininger.

Klee chose their name both as tribute to the wondrous, endearing art of
modernist painter Paul Klee, and also for its literal definition in German:
clover; that elegant and ubiquitous plant you find that might just bring you
luck. Very much their own musical masters, Klee's influences can at times be
reminiscent of some of the finest recent European pop, from Broadcast to New
Order. Their sonic style, a dreamlike convergence of expansive acoustic guitar
parallels, trickling synths and Suzie's soothing, intimate voice has won them
widespread acclaim in Germany.

Klee explore simple yet affecting melodies and, using their mother tongue, prove
German to be both magical and romantic, especially when mining the subjects of
love and loss. "A Thousand Times" demonstrates their prowess for writing amazing
songs concerning deep emotion and reflections on life; while "This is for
Everyone" is a hymn to the concept of living for the day and celebrating one's
dreams free from fear and doubt. "As Long As You Live" sees Klee hitting the
Euro dance floor and whipping it with a rougher rock edge. In "We Go Against the
Flow," the "mother of punk," Nina Hagen, lends her vocals for an extra depth.

From the melancholy of "My Room" to the joie de vivre of "Gold," Klee hits the
nail on the head of classic pop, demonstrating that they are sublime
craftspeople at the height of their powers filling a much needed void in these
strange times.

The name of their latest album and the US debut, 'Honeysuckle', is a fitting
title. These twelve tracks echo the sweet, restorative qualities of this
bewitching flower; each song a salve that can sooth the weariest of souls.
