Hinweise'Blade Icewood' (Darnell Quincy Lyndsey 1977-2005), was a Detroit-based rap artist slain in gang-related violence on April 19, 2005. Blade Icewood, a.k.a. "The Great Lakes Ruler", was a member of the Detroit based rap group Street Lordz, along with Uncle Jesse James, Juan, G-Rock, K-Doe, Rook, Malik (Eddie Kane), O-Dolla, Fat Mike, Short Dawg, Brick, Vito, Gift,and Lil' TJ. In 2005, Blade formed Icewood Enertainment, He signed his first artists Candi Cane, Balee, Cash Out, who were with Dirty Glove Entertainment and 2 days before he died, he vacationed to Brazil for a two million dollar operation on his legs so he could walk. His label, Icewood Entertainment, was taken over by close family members.
