Manfred Mann's Earth Band is a British progressive rock group formed in 1971 by Manfred Mann. The Earth Band combines the stylistic approach of progressive rock with Mann's jazz-influenced Moog synthesizer playing and keen ear for melody. Beside producing own material, a staple of the band's music and live performances from the beginning has been also relying on covers of songs by other modern pop/rock artists, notably Bob Dylan and Bruce Springsteen, in MMEB's progressive rock style.

This box is a tribute to Manfred Mann and his Earth Band, covering the whole of the band's career and the past 40 years of Manfred's career.

Limited edition 21 CD box set from the British Rock veterans, released to coincide with their 40th Anniversary. Also includes a 36-page booklet of the band's history with extensive notes for each album, a 32-page book of Manfred's own memories and anecdotes and a poster of the current band. The catalogue CDs have been remastered and repackaged in LP-style sleeves. The albums have the original UK running order and refreshed sleeves. This box also includes "Live In Ersingen" is a brand-new live recording from July 22nd, 2011 featuring the band's latest vocalist, Robert Hart, and "Leftovers" is the latest compilation of the hit singles and rare or previously unavailable recordings.
