Vendetta -The Drum Synth

Anyone who is into creating their own sounds should be thrilled over Vendetta! All of the components are very logically laid-out, and accessible. The machine is geard to be used the way that you want to use it. It may be a sample player to some, an Analog Synth emulator to others, and to others, a sound effects maker. The sound creating possibilities of Vendetta are without limit.

The Layout of Vendetta

As mentioned above, Vendetta’s layout is quite logical, and easy to navigate. No parameter is more than a few mouse clicks away. There are four dedicated sliders (like the ones to the left of this paragraph) that are always available to manipulate the parameters of a chosen envelope (pitch, amplitude, filter). There is also a dedicated value slider that serves the same purpose for parameters that are not based on an envelope structure.

Another of Vendettas terriffic features is the parameter window. Choose a layer, and it’s parameters based upon the soft buttons surrounding it. There is no need to navigate menus, just pick a pad, pick a layer, pick a parameter, and edit! The user’s edits are heard as they occur.

The Synthesis Structure

Vendetta’s sound making architecture is quite flexible, powerful, and sounds great. The diagram below gives greater insight into how Vendetta works. This highlights the structure of just one layer. Each pad employs three simultaneously available layers!*
